COVID 19 | Temporary Open & Free Resources

Dear Library Users,

In order to support institutions and students moving to remote instruction & learning, many publishers are offering some or all of their e-resources freely for a period of time. Below is a list of publishers/resources that have been made freely available during this period of COVID-19. You can find these resources under the Library E-Resources web page.

    This resource brings together new 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) content from across The Lancet journals as it is published.

  • Gale eBooks: Coronavirus & Global Pandemics Collection
    It includes many books on corona virus and global pandemics.
  • Gale In Context: Science – Viruses
    It provides contextual information on science topics present-day and supports virtual science teaching.

    İdealonline is a database that collects Turkish information resources in a platform. It includes more than 800 journals and more than 105.000 articles.
  • Wiley Online Library – Books
    Wiley Online Library includes more than 20,000 open access books.
  • Annual Reviews
    All the journals of Annual Reviews are temporarily available due to the coronavirus disease.
  • Duke University Press
    The books are free to read online until June 1, 2020, and journal articles are free until October 1 in the platform.

    It includes all research finding and data on Coronavirus disease with the support of international publishers.

    Cambridge University Press includes more than 700 open access textbooks.

    Open textbooks, includes 703 textbooks.

    The Open Textbook Network (OTN) promotes access, affordability, and student success through the use of open textbooks.
  • Open Stax
    OpenStax is a nonprofit educational initiative based at Rice University. They publish high-quality, peer-reviewed, openly licensed college textbooks that are absolutely free online and low cost in print.
  • Amsterdam Documentary Film Festival
    Amsterdam Documentary Film Festival includes 300 free movies. They are temporarily available due to the coronavirus disease.
  • Guggenheim Museum Archive
    Guggenheim Museum Archive includes more than 200 art books. They are temporarily available due to the coronavirs disease.
  • Harvard Business Review ebook Collection

    Nomos Online Premium includes jurisprudence, forms, guides, law collections, journals and interpretations.
  • Beck-eBibliothek
    Beck- ebibliothek includes e-books on public law, civil law and criminal law.
  • ProjectMUSE
    You can access more than 450 journals in Social and Humanities. It includes the journals of major publishers such as MIT Press, Princeton University Press, Harvard University Press and Yale University Press.
  • Financial Times
